Delivery

All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. We aim to dispatch all orders that are in stock within 2 working days. Please refer to below for delivery timescale.

Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in installments if certain items are out of stock.

If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely

Returns Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 28 days of receipt. We will be happy to provide an exchange or refund, providing the items are returned in perfect condition and where possible in their original packaging with all tags attached.

Please complete the form on the reverse of your receipt, clearly indicating the reason for return and whether you require a refund or exchange. Proof of purchase is required.

Please then reseal the item in its original packaging and return your parcel to us using the attached address label on the front of the receipt form. We advise all customers to keep the proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. All refunds will be issued to the same payment method as the original order and may take up to 14 days to complete.

Please note that purchases made via our website and telephone cannot be refunded in any of our stores.
Please note that our sale items have a seven day return policy. This is to enable us to process the return item and put it back into sale online before the sale ends.

If your items were purchased from a non-Chatham Marine store or Website, please return your item to the retailer, not to Chatham Marine. As we cannot accept returns for items not purchased directly from ourselves, Chatham Marine Limited. Please note that their terms and conditions may vary from ours.

Unfortunately we are only able to receive returns through the postal service.

UK Returns only: Returns are freepost.

Europe Returns: You are responsible for paying return postage.

Faulty Items

If in the unlikely event that your item is faulty, please contact our customer service team on 0845 2700 217 or alternatively by email info@chatham-marine.co.uk. Please return the item clearly stating the fault and include proof of purchase. We will endeavour to replace your item but if unable to, we may offer an alternative or a refund if the item is found to be faulty.

At the moment - In the unlikely event of our goods developing a fault during wear, they may be returned to us for inspection, after which a full refund or replacement may be offered.

Care of Shoes

Your shoes will love you more if you look after them. Our shiny and new soft pebble leather should be gently wiped with a damp cloth and then waxed with an appropriate wax. Our Nubucks can be lightly cleaned with a wire brush or emery paper and lightly sprayed with a clear wax.

Washable shoes

Our washable shoe can be hand washed, or machine washed on the coolest setting, with a mild detergent, ideally a liquid one. For machine washing shoes should be protected by a pillow case or similar washing bag. They should be air dried, not in a machine or on a radiator and will retain their shape better if stuffed with a non-staining fabric or shoe trees. Colour will lighten slightly after lots of washes, but the shoes will be comfortable friends for years.
