Guarantee and Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not happy with our products, please return them, unworn and in their original condition and packaging, within 14 days of purchase.  We will exchange the item or provide you with a full cash refund or credit note. All mail order purchases need to be processed by post and require a completed returns form, found on the reverse of the receipt.

In the unlikely event of our goods developing a fault during wear, they may be returned to us for inspection, after which a full refund or replacement may be offered.

Please ask your Post Office for a Proof of Posting Certificate.

This will ensure that you will receive your exchange or refund in the event of your goods being mislaid in the post.

UK Returns only: Returns are freepost.

You will find a Royal Mail returns sticker at the bottom of the returns form. Please put this in the “Return to” window on your postage packaging. It includes our address.

Europe Returns: You are responsible for paying return postage.

Cleaning: Your shoes will love you more if you look after them. Our Shiny and new Soft Pebble leather should be gently wiped with a damp cloth and then wax with an appropriate wax. Soft Pebble should be treated with a cream. Our nubucks can be lightly cleaned with a wire brush or emery board and lightly sprayed with a good quality wax available from any good shoe shop.

Washable Shoes:  Our Washable shoes can be hand washed, or machine washed on the coolest setting, with a mild detergent, ideally a liquid one. For machine washing, shoes should be protected by a pillow case or similar washing bag. They should be air dried, not in a machine, or under a radiator and will retain their shape better if stuffed with a non-staining fabric or shoe trees. Colours will lighten slightly after lots of washes, but the shoes will be comfortable for years.

 Are the shoes Waterproof?  Due to the construction, moccasin boat shoes are not waterproof. This moccasin construction is very comfortable which is why they are so popular, but they will leak if worn in wet conditions. All shoes of this kind, regardless of price or brand name, will leak if worn in wet conditions. The only exceptions to this are shoes made of waterproof membrane such as Gore-Tex. Shoes manufactured with this type of membrane will usually cost a lot more.
